[From Antoine RJ Wright at Mobile Ministry Magazine] One of the reasons to submit a user thought is about how you use mobile, another would be how others near you are using it. To my end, I am always on my mobiles. I’ve got a Nokia N8 and Kindle Fire HD (7in) that pretty much stay as workhorses. On this rare day to devote to just digital work, I’m able to get a good bit of work done. Using a combination of Wordpress, DroidEdit, and the web browser to get a lot done feels good. And on the other side of things its kind of neat seeing my lady and her new iPad Mini. For the past months, she’d been delightfully using my 1st gen iPad, but for her birthday I got her an iPad Mini. I don’t think there’s nothing like seeing someone’s face light up when they receive something new. Then again, it lit up again when after she put in her Apple ID all of her apps and settings started downloading to her new device. The iPad was an entertainment platform for her, but now she’s looking at getting some more work done. It will be interesting to see her evolution, especially since I’m already in that space with my Kindle Fire HD. I wonder who else in our circle we can convince to get a small tablet and go from fun to productive? Would be interesting and another story to add to the journey.
